Why we opened Fade Street

Jay opened Fade Street after fifteen years of watching people sit for an hour in waiting rooms for a twenty minute cut.

The idea was simple: show which chairs are free on the website, let people book a time if they want one, and keep the walk-in chair open for everyone else.

Nobody should wait longer than the cut takes.

Two chairs became three

Mo joined for beards in the first year. Kez came over from a salon and brought scissor work with her. Thursday late nights started because half the regulars work till six.
